Some areas of special interest are: diseases of the liver, motor disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer screening, absorptive disorders and nutritional support. The Gastroenterology Department utilizes advanced techniques such as the capsule endoscopy and state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.
